Insurance comes with plenty of fine print. We’d rather give you the plain-English version. Clear & Company Eye Care accepts vision insurance for routine vision care, and our team can verify your benefits before your visit, explain what your plan includes, and provide an estimate of your expected out-of-pocket costs.
Vision Insurance in Harrisburg, NC
Vision Plans We Accept
Having vision insurance is one thing. Knowing how to use it is another. Your plan may include benefits for routine eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, or other vision care, with allowances and out-of-pocket costs that vary. Share your plan information with us, and we’ll help you understand what applies to your visit.

Vision Insurance vs. Medical Insurance
They sound similar, but vision insurance and medical insurance cover different types of care. Vision insurance covers routine vision care, such as eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. Medical insurance applies when your visit is related to a medical eye condition, injury, disease, or another medically oriented concern.
*Clear & Company Eye Care does not currently accept medical insurance, so medical eye care provided through our practice is self-pay.
Out of Network? You’re Still Welcome!
Being out of network doesn’t mean you can’t choose Clear & Company Eye Care. If we’re not in network with your vision plan, we’ll help you understand your options and expected costs before you decide how you’d like to proceed.
If we’re out-of-network, we can provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your plan for possible reimbursement. We will also help you use eligible HSA/FSA dollars and share transparent pricing before services are provided.
